I liked the puppets. They looked great.
The rest didn't really spark much of an interest in me. An amateur film of grande proportions that takes itself a little too seriously. That's the vibe I'm getting.
Nonetheless, I still want to see it, because it really does look daft for amateurs.

As mentioned the puppetry/horror carnival sequences come across as the most interesting and definitely compelling! Reminded me of a similar set piece from Hellbound: Hellraiser 2! [img]smile.gif[/img] Wasn't all that inspired by the gun-toting stuff though, seemed to be a bit of a genre crossover there, but perhaps that's a fault of the trailer rather than the film?
Production values all look solid, although the photography seems to be somewhat inconsistent (texture and quality) jumping from the stylised horror stuff (which could pass off as higher end DTV) to the "gritty" crime stuff (which looks like an ordinary mid 90s episode of The Bill)- maybe this is another hinderance of being trailer-bound, and of course I'm sure there's grading to be done yet too. Still, mere minor whinging on my part given this evidently mammoth undertaking! All of us who have done sizable no-budget productions can empathise with one another feeling that horrid, pressurising sensation of frustration, confusion, stress, creativity, casual parenthood/very serious parenthood, high blood pressure, insanity, self doubting, arrogance and complete lack of sleep realising you live, work and spend all your time and money ONLY to feed the monster! The self imposed feeling of living out Brad Davis' character in Midnight Express...
I wish you all the best with this, Chance- yours and everybody else involdeds patience, persistence and determination are very admirable qualities and I hope you guys never give up!

My feelings pretty much echo Tim's. Overall it looked great, but some sequences shone out (the puppet and the puppet master sequences, the nuns) where as others felt like they were from a different film all together (the guy in the leather jacket). As I always, I look forward to seeing the finished article.

Maybe it's just me but I went to the site last night and it was down. I don't know if this is a browser problem or not? I don't use IE or NetScape and somtimes older sites have trouble with Mozilla FireFox. I know the .biz site has been up for a while, have you tested it with Mozilla FireFox?
I tried it on both my Atari and my PC - no joy [img]frown.gif[/img]
I might try IE tonight, hope it works, I've been waiting 3 years to see some MI stuff.
